Red Salutes to All who made an Historical Strike a Grand Success

Dear Comrades,
I convey my best wishes and red salutes to all the members/leaders who participated and made an Historical Strike a Grand Success. Reports received from various quarters of the Division that the Strike percentage is more than 90% in the Division.

HISTORIC ONE-DAY STRIKE (28-02-2012) GRAND SUCCESS IN SECUNDERABAD DIVISION

As per the call given by Central JCA, the Historic one day general strike held on 28-02-2012 turns into a grand success in secunderabad division with an overall 93% of participation from Group-C,Postmen,Group-D, GDS, Part-time contingents & Outsourcing employees. Secunderabad HO &, Thirumalgherry  HO"s  remained closed and 98% of the Sub-offices were closed. In rural area under Vikarabad HO and its Sub-offices, BOs were completely closed.  Unions affiliates of NFPE extends its revolutionary greetings  to all the militant comrades who have participated in the general one-day strike on 28-02-2012  in our Secunderabad division.

The meeting was organised by JCA leaders of Secunderabad HPO- Com. CH.Sreedhara Swami,           Com.Narasimha and Com.Indrani.The gate meeting was addressed by national leaders M.S.Raja,Secretary of Confederation;Y.Raghupathi,secretary NFPE and Com.Sita Mahalakshmi,Secretary NFPE for making All India strike on 28.2.2012 a success.

JCM (Departmental Council)

JCM Departmental Council held on 10.02.2012. Ms. Manjula Prashar, Secretary, Department of Posts, presided. All Postal Board members and senior officers were present. All notified items were discussed. Minutes of the Standing Committee meeting held on 02.02.2012 and todays meeting will be published shortly. Strike charter of demands/items were not discussed again. It is assured that progress report on all the items discussed earlier will also be furnished to the staff side.
