Programme of Action-Decision taken by Postal JCA (Circle)

The meeting of Branch/Divisional secretaries of twin cities held on 29/03/2011 at Hyderabad GPO under the President ship of com.K.Manohar Rao Convenor JCA (FNPO). The following decisions were taken to intensify the agitational programme against the implementation of MNOP as per Macancy Proposals.

1.Black Badge wearing campaign by all employees of twin cities for two days i.e.30/03/2011&31/03/2011

2.Gate/Lunch hour demonstrations should be conducted in all LSG offices of twin cities.

3.Mass demonstrations at CPMG office on 31/03/2011 at 01-00pm

4.Badge wearing campaign demanding "Macancy Go Back" from 01/04/2011 to 06/04/2011 throught the circle by all Postal Employees.The badges should be printed at divisional level.

6.Round Table meeting on 06/04/2011 by inviting Central Trade Union/Political Representatives.

Submission of Memorandums at Divisional Level on 01/04/2011 against Implementation of MNOP as per Macancy Proposals

Dear comrades,

As per the decision taken by the circle JCA against the Implementation of Mail Network Optimisation Project (MNOP) as per the Macancy Proposals, Divisional JCA is going to submit a Memorandum to the divisional Superintendent on 01/04/2011.Hence i request working committee members,division office bearers and Members to join the protest in large number and make the programme a grand success.

DA orders issued Today

Dear Comrades,
Today Ministry of Finance, department of expenditure issued DA orders vide Memo No.1(2)/2011-E-II(B) dated 24/03/2011.The Payment of arrears of DA for the months of January and February 2011 shall not be made before the date of disbursement of salary of March 2011.

Dharna on 23/03/2011 at CPMG Office at 10am

Dear Comrades

As per the call given by CHQ (ED union) a Dharna Programme is going to be held on 23/03/2011 at Dak Sadan, abids,Hyderabad at 10 am.Hence it is requested to attend the programme and make it grand success.It is requested to all the members who are on Split Duty must attend dharna Programme tomorrow.

Cabinet approved 6% DA to Central Government Employees from January 2011

Dear comrades,

Today Union Cabinet approved 6% DA to Central government employees from January 2011. orders will be issued by the finance ministry in the next week.As soon as the orders issued the same will be placed here for the information of the members.

Amendment to Rule 2 of Appendix No.37 Postal Volume IV-for every Deaprtmental Examination there must be 40 days Notice

Dear Comrades,

Postal Directorate amended Rule 2 of Appendix No.37 of Postal Volume IV vide MEmo No.A-34020/12/2011-DE dated 04/03/2011. The same is placed here for the information of the members.

 

Filling up of the posts of LSG in Accounts line in POs and RMS offices-Fresh Guidelines issued by the Directorate

Dear Comrades,

There is a lot of confusion while filling up of LSG (APM) Accounts line posts.There is no uniformity has been maintained in all the Circles while filling up of the said posts.In AP Circle also LSG Acounts line posts have not filled up by following the directorate guideline. CAT Chennai, CAT Ernakulam and even CAT Hyderabad (In Ranganatham V/S Union Of India case) also confirmed that LSG (A/Cs) cadre is divisionalised for limited purpose i.e. only for transfer liability and this cadre remains as a circle cadre and Posts have to be filled up according to their seniority in Accountants line i.e. year of passing of accountants examination only.After implementing the order of CAT Hyderabad, Now circle office is preparing a fresh LSG, HSG-II and HSG-I seniority list of Accounts line and the same will be out with in a month.Now the Directorate had issued afresh guidelines in this matter vide Memo No.06-12-2010-SPB-II dated 07/03/2011

On the occasion of centenary celebrations of international women's day,meetings have been organised in the following offices-

• At musheerabad DSO under the chairmanship of comrade B.Murali Krishna Murthy,SPM;Smt N.Padmaja DPM II and T.Suresh Kumar,Divl Secretory addressed the gathering.
• At divisional office it was organised by comrade J.Srinivas ,OA.Sri A.Satyanarayana,Senior superintendent of post offices greeted the women employees on this occasion.
• At Secunderabad HPO,a well organised meeting was held under the banner of womens forum of Secunderabad HPO  under the leadership of comrade CH.Sridara Swami,Branch secretory A.I.P.E.U Gr.C.
